Having begun her journey as a means to overcome trauma, Devin understands the importance of the mind, body, spirit, and energetic connection. She is a strong advocate for empowerment and whole-person healing.
Her goal is to empower others to take control of their lives and make decisions that are in alignment with their highest selves. She balances spirituality with science, helping you heal with "the why behind the woo."

Devin is a certified Usui Reiki Master, and has been practicing for 7 years.
Yoga Instructor
She is registered yoga instructor and has completed 200-hr training, as well as continued education and certifications in yin yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and trauma-informed yoga.
Psychic Medium
For 6 years, she's studied mediumship in the U.S. and U.K. with some of the most accurate mediums of our times.

Devin Grindrod
Like many other helping professionals, I began Spiritually Balanced to be the support I needed most during my critical healing era. Which is why I am dedicated to finding the best, most efficient practices for releasing trauma and living life unabashedly. I live for my clients' glow ups. Nothing is better than watching someone free themselves from the burden of their traumas and step into their highest and most abundant selves.
If you would have told me during my college career that I would be following these whispers in my soul and would become the energy healer in the woods, I would have told you that you’re crazy, and for multiple reasons. The first and foremost being that I didn’t believe in energy healing (oh the power of personal experience) and second, I didn’t know a thing about starting or running a business. I thought entrepreneur was a dirty word and didn’t even call myself a business owner for the first 3 years (hello major limiting beliefs!)
Even through all of the limiting beliefs, there was an undeniable fire in my soul and I knew it was the only path forward for me, so I did what inevitably happens when my intuition puts me miles ahead of my comfort zone, and I did it scared. Have you ever felt called to go down a path that you knew with every fiber of your being was the right one, but you have no idea what you’re doing or why you’re headed this way? That’s what spiritual entrepreneurship is. It’s your soul calling you home.
Before stepping into my soul’s mission, I worked in a research lab at San Diego State University as well as providing in-home behavioral coach services for children with developmental, mood, and learning disorders. It was in these settings where I was mentored for 7 years in trauma-informed practices, I was taught evidence-based healing modalities that I still use today in tandem with my energetic work. And to say I loved what I was doing was an understatement. I was living my professional dream all while burning myself out as a bleeding-heart empath with no boundaries.
So I did what any reasonable person would do and fled the country with my husband to spend 4 months in Southeast Asia doing deep soul searching work to discover my path. This led Spirit to help me found Spiritually Balanced.
Today, I help people to overcome their trauma, limiting beliefs, end toxic generational cycles, transmute their heavy emotions, and step into the beautiful, abundant, worthy-AF being of light that they are. It is my mission to help as many people to release their burdens and become fully aligned with their soul’s mission as possible in this lifetime.
